RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION POLICY

Requests for returned product will be processed and approved by IMI on a per case basis and may be subject to a restocking fee of 25%.

Upon initiation for return, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Non-electrical items must be received at IMI within 30 days of original invoice date.
  • Electrical components must be received within 14 days of original invoice date and need to be in original packaging when applicable.
  • Motors must be received at IMI within 12 months of original invoice date.
  • A full credit, less the 25% restocking fee, will be issued if the product returned is determined to be in a restockable and resalable condition.
  • Special Product Request orders are non-returnable.
  • No returns will be accepted without prior approval from IMI.

The restocking fee may be waived for the following reasons:

  • Defective or damaged product
  • Incorrect product received
  • Multiple components sent in a troubleshooting situation with an IMI Service Technician, where components are invoiced and credited back upon return

If the RMA is determined to be due to an IMI error, IMI will pay the cost of the return shipment.

IMI will pay the cost of returning product that is reported to be defective. If an inspection determines that the product was not delivered in a defective state (e.g. premature wear of liners due to use of improper shot blast material or product), no credit will be issued.

Customer will be responsible for return shipment costs under the following circumstances:

  • Wrong product ordered
  • No longer want/need
